Plug-in Filter Repeat Behavior

Beitrag von OldRadioGuy »

PhotoLine has a convenient shortcut to repeat use of a plug-in filter:

Shift+Command+L (listing the last filter used).

I have discovered that use of this keyboard shortcut automatically applies the previous settings of the filter rather than opening the plug-in without settings selected. I have tested this with two different plug-ins (ON1 Photo Effects and Luminar Neo). Selecting the plug-in with Filter -> (Name of Plug-in) brings up a new occasion of the filter without the previous settings.

Is this repetition the intended behavior for this keyboard shortcut?

If not, perhaps it’s related to use a Mac with an M chip? (I recently switched to a Mac Studio with an M2 chip.)

Yes, that is the intended behavior. If it is supported by the plug-in, this command applies the last used settings.
