Saturate/Desaturate Brush Tools or Saturation mode for Brighter/Darker brush tools?

I just read small blog post from painter who uses PhotoLine that explains one essential but must have tool https://sketchbooky.wordpress.com/2023/03/03/5526/
So i attempt to emulate it with Brush in Saturation Mode and Brush color in HSV mode. I was able to saturate colors if set "S" and "V" to max in HSV Color Editor and paint with brush in Saturation Mode. I also was able to control effect strength with Intensity in Tool Settings.
That’s really not a quick and easy to set up and use.

So guess it could be much easier to have special Saturate/Desaturate Brush Tools (Same as Brighter/Darker brush tools but for saturation). Those brushes cold be quick and easy to use with hotkeys when they are required during painting. Or it just could be a Saturation mode for Brighter/Darker brush tools.

I already send request to developers, but love to hear any feedback from digital painters here. Is this important tool in real life or not?

IMO this is quite easy to setup:
- Switch "Channels" mode to "Saturation".
- Select either a fully saturated color (for example red) or a color without any saturation (for example black) from the popup color list.

If these two steps are too much work, you can setup them once and then save a preset.

I personally don't do a lot of digital painting, so i only could guess how people use that saturate/desaturate brush. My guess in best case scenario during painting this brush should toggle as quick as possible. If it was a separate tool, it could be possible to assign hotkey and toggle very fast.

Another possible idea - if use Brighter/Darker tool and paint using right mouse button, it temporary may became Saturate/Desaturate tool.
