Browser reads constantly the drive

I have a folder is several thousand tiff good size.
When you open Browser (File->Browse), there is a long read.
Is it possible to organize the cache to preview files?

The Browse function usually caches the previews. It can be configured in the preferences at "Browse > Settings".
The default and best option is saving the previews in the same folder as the image files. This will create a hidden Browse.plb file that contains the previews.
