When I export it to PDF, this is all correctly taken into account. But when I print, the bleed is left out
There is no bleed setting for printing.

The original reason for the background color was to reproduce printing on colored paper. Therefore, it would not make sense to output the background color in this situation.

Is it possible to add these things, or have I made some wrong preferences?
In order to do that, we would need two additional print settings: bleed and an option to print the background color.

I recommend creating a PDF and printing that with Preview.

Martin
I still think that it is somewhat unlogical that the background is shown in PDF and JPG but not in print. Most users (like myself) will not know the reasons behind this and be puzzled. For me it is just a fast way to make a background colour to an entire document. But that is easily overcome.
However, I would like a bleed setting for printing. In Preview there is no way to position the page on a sheet or quickly print a few cards on a sheet like PL. And in Acrobat these things are also very limited compared to PL.
Thanks for your support,
- Paul
